Mission Statement:  To provide, by a professional clinical staff, faith-based counseling and psychological services for individuals, families, and couples, at a cost consistent with the client's ability to pay.

In response to the COVID-19 emergency we are now able to see clients for face to face counseling as of July 27, 2020.  We have implemented safety precautions and advise that you contact us to learn about those prior to an appointment. We are also able to provide telephone counseling. Insurance companies have responded to the crisis and are now permitting and paying for phone counseling.  Clients who pay for services out of their own pocket may also receive phone services. We are still able to accept new clients.  Our normal business hours continue to be limited.  Please contact our office at 313-274-4570.  If we do not answer the phone, please leave a message.  We will return your call as soon as possible.

The staff at the Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center recognize that all who come to us do not share the same faith-based values.  We strive to serve all who seek our help with the same level of care, compassion, and respect.

Helping People With:

Panic Attacks

Stress Management

Separation/Divorce Issues

Conflict Resolution

Post-Traumatic Stress

"Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.  But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.  Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.  Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.  You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and stars; you have a right to be here.  And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.  And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace in your soul.  With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful.

Strive to be happy."
